Forum rules

As with any great game there are rules.

1: This is a Family Site that means:
__ a: No sexually explicit pictures or avaters.
__ b: No vulgar profanity. (Keep it PG)
__ c: No personal insults (Argue the point, not the person.)

2: Keep all political/religious debates civil. Different viewpoints are good. Hating someone for that different is bad.

3: No "smack-talk" of someone elses gun. Every gun is a Heirloom to it's owner.

4: No spamming or fly-by-night sales. This isn't free-advertising.com! Go sell your stuff somewhere else.

5: If you don't like guns or shooting hobbies, go somewhere else! There are other places to go that feel that way and would love you to join them. Let us enjoy our hobby!

6: Have fun! You're here to relax and enjoy yourself. Keep it light and don't get caught up in the gun-smoke!

Why is it that all the other ammo is available there, but I still can't find any .22s? (long rifle or magnums)

Am I the only one having this problem?

If your Walmart is selling it, what price are they asking?

Our local WM has had .22's on the shelf for some time. I have been buying Federal 550's for $19 a box, and Federal Auto match for $17 a box of 325. They don't have much selection but they have enough ammo that there is something on the shelf. I just wait till they have something I can use and pick up a box or two at a time! DR

$19 for 550 a box in California? Ok, there is NO reason why it's not that price here in Florida.

Occasionally Walmart has .22 ammo but I go to Academy Sports now. Went in there today and they had any kind of .22 ammo you would want. Magnums, hollow point shorts, .22 rat shot, long rifle, stingers. This is just outside Birmingham, Alabama. The prices are comparable to Walmart.

I'd love if we had an Academy Sports or something similar in my town. We're way too small for those, though.

Brownell's and Cabela's both had CCI Blazer last weekend for about 5 cents a round............Just in case it is short lived I picked up a few bricks. Can't have too many rounds.............
